Hollins Wood Childcare is very involved with the local community, indeed the owners and the majority of our staff live locally. This year we have entered a float in Marple Carnival and were awarded 2nd place.

We ran a "Guess the Name of the Teddy" stall at Winter Wonderland where all the proceeds went to our chosen charity, Francis House Children's Hospice. For Children in Need the staff and children dressed in fancy dress and had a fun day with face painting and baked cakes for a cake sale. We have close links with our parents and in the summer had a barbeque with an entertainer for the children, the proceeds from the barbeque again went to charity.
